Supreme Court Justice With Bader Ginsburg died on Friday due to complications of metastatic pancreas cancer. She was 87.

Locals reacted in shock and dismay at the news. A quickly organized candle vigil was held at Lincoln-Douglas Debate Square on Douglas Street in Freeport. Organized by Sabra Baker and attended by our very own Nick Nunez.
